Why drink diet shakes for weight loss when you can just eat healthy? All one really has to do is eat healthy right? Then the pounds magically come off? Wrong.
First problem: Thinking that you can just try and “eat healthy”!
I’m not disrespecting a well-balanced and healthy meal they are in fact very good for you. There are too many gym-rat “know -it-all’s” spreading misleading diet tricks from “Mens- Workouts” magazines that are founded in profits and not science. Health magazines that design clever marketing around research/workouts/diets to continuously engage readers month-to-month without truly giving them educational knowledge. The same magazine that has 50% of it’s pages covered in marketing is also attempting to market to you it’s “trendy workouts”, “fad diets” and other B.S.

Your diet and lifestyle need to be so correlated with one another that they could do the tango if they wanted too. It is simply not possible for a person who’s NutraGenomics (read Genetics) to lose weight with moderate exercise and a horrible diet day-in and day-out.
Third problem: People think spending hours in the gym is the only way to true weight loss.

So I’ll show you guys how important diet is over exercise in losing weight.
Let’s say you hit the gym pretty hard for about 5 hrs a week ( this is actually a pretty high number for some professional athletes let alone your Joe Blow). That 5 hrs a week is only about 3% of your week. Therefore 97% of your time is spent outside the gym!

I’m not the biggest calories in and calories out weight loss equation guy but exercise can almost be a drop in the bucket type activity for some individuals compared to diet.
